Analysis

The analysis below uses the Track Titan platform to compare a HYMO reference hotlap to one of the Track Titan community drivers at the Esses section in Sector 1. Here we can see the reference driver is able to maintain a higher minimum speed through the section, particularly the left-hander at the end of the complex. The data highlights the reason why the community driver is unable to carry this speed all the way through despite entering at a similar speed. You can see form the racing line that the community driver does not apex as tight as the blue reference on the previous right-hander. This puts them wide and makes the following left tighter. This is evident as the community driver has to brake harder by 16% and attempt to correct the mistake. The net loss is 0.15s in this segment.

Hot Laps Top Tips

Hairpin corners are among the most dramatic elements in motor racing, requiring drivers to demonstrate skilful braking and precise steering. These tight bends force racers to slow down significantly, often becoming the arena for overtaking manoeuvres. Mastery of a hairpin involves approaching from the outside, braking hard, then turning sharply into the corner while maintaining enough control to accelerate out. The technique for hairpins can vary depending on the car's setup and the driver's style, but successful navigation always hinges on balance, patience, and a well-timed exit strategy.
